Double Delight for Dream Big Sports!

Young Business Of The Year 2018!

On Friday 11th May #TeamDreamBIG once again dusted down our tuxedos and attended the 10th annual Oldham Business Awards Ceremony which took place at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. It was an honour to attend such a fantastic event with some real heavyweights in Oldham's business community. It was even more special to be shortlisted for the prestigious accolade; Young Business of the Year 2018.

This comes less than six months after the team won New Business of The Year 2017 at the Rochdale Business Awards and once again #TeamDreamBIG came out on top completing a very special double cross-borough double.

The team may have been in attendance and received the award in front of the packed room with over 600 guests, however, the service we provide is not possible without the support of our partners whether that be in education, recruitment, business to business or support from the parents who bring their children to our out of hours sessions each week.

We would like to give a couple of special mentions to our partner schools, our Voluntary Advisory Board; Steve Hill MBE, Sophie Dixon, Danny Simpson, Ben Whitehead and George Walsh, to our friends at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce; Paul Richardson, Alice Smith and Emma Blackburn and our partners at North Planet - Danny Mills and Luke Greaves. With your continued support, advice and guidance; our work is made a lot easier.

Director Dale Harris spoke of the team's delight, "This award is one that we are extremely grateful to receive. On a personal level for myself and Dillan it has filled us with a huge sense of pride, we are both Oldham through and through having been born and raised in the borough so to be recognised amongst the town's finest businesses is a huge achievement in itself. This is just the start for Dream Big Sports but what a very special and proud start it has been. If you are not already a partner of ours in some way, shape or form then I urge you to come and sit down with us and find out more about what we do."

Finally, we'd like to say a huge WELL DONE to anyone who has taken their SAT'S tests this week; our whole team have been amazed by the determination shown by the pupils across all of our partner schools and we are sure you have done your best which is all anyone can ask for!
