Active Schools Conference 2019 - Keynote Announcement: Steve Caldecott

Keynote Announcement: Steve Caldecott - AfPE & Ofsted - A national update.

We are very pleased to be able to announce that Steve Caldecott, Head of Health and Safety for the Association for Physical Education and an experienced Ofsted Inspector will be delivering the opening keynote at this year’s Active Schools Conference.

Steve has been in his role, heading up AfPE’s Health and Safety team since 2017 in which it is his responsibility to provide advice and guidance in relation to health & safety as well as safeguarding to all membership holders. This also includes heading up the professional learning course on Safe Working Practices.

However, we are also fortunate that Steve also doubles up as an experienced HMI for Ofsted. His keynote will provide a national update from Ofsted and provide details on the changes to their vision and focus for PE and school sport as well as the regulations surrounding the recording of evidence and reporting your schools spend.

We are thrilled to be working alongside the Association for Physical Education to provide all delegates insightful and beneficial keynotes. If you have not secured your FREE ticket yet, you can do so by visiting
