Dance Specialist

£10.50 - £13.00 per hour

As the Dance Specialist within our organisation, the successful candidate will be specifically responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of our Dance & Cheerleading provision; both in schools and in the form our ever growing ‘Dance & Cheer Academies’ within the community.

Contract: An outstanding part time contract 25+ hours per week contract, typically working during the school day and also weekday evenings on a term time only basis. Further opportunities are available to work at our ‘Sports and Activities Holiday Camps’ during the school holidays dependant on experience and availability.

Salary: Salary is based on contractual hours of delivery and varies between £10.50 - £13.00 per hour dependent on experience and programme being delivered on a self-employed basis. There is also opportunity to earn during the school holidays at one of our highly popular Holiday Camps. Our organisation has on offer various rewards and incentives throughout the school year for all coaches who go above and beyond in their role. There are also regular opportunities to progress in all areas of coaching through continuous mentoring and training provided by Dream Big Sports.

We are looking for ahighly motivated, creative and inspirational individual who can help create memorable moments for children to achieve their dreams through sport.

Essential Requirements:

  • Own transport with full UK driving licence.

  • Enhanced DBS (CRB) certificate (to complete practical assessment).

  • 1 x Level 2 Dance and/or Gymnastics Qualification (or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 12 months experience delivering cheerleading.

  • First Aid Qualification (within the last 2 years).

  • Safeguarding Certificate (within the last 12 months).

  • Availability to work term time and evenings.

  • Experience of delivering in a classroom environment.

  • Minimum of 12 months experience delivering curriculum-based dance & physical education to children aged 4-16 years old.

Desirable Requirements: 

  • 1 x NGB Level 2 Coaching Qualification.

  • Experience of using behaviour management strategies when delivering sports.

  • Achieved or working towards a Level 3 in Primary School PE/Sport.

  • Degree (or working towards) in Sports Coaching or any other sport related degree.

P.E & Community Sports Specialist

£10.50 - £13.00 per hour

Our world class coaching team are responsible for all aspects of physical education delivery in line with the national P.E curriculum for primary schools including EYFS, PPA cover, interventions and our niche education programmes. The successful candidate will also be expected to deliver a variety of intervention programmes and extra-curricular clubs.

Contract: A fantastic part time contract of 16+ hours per week, typically delivering during the school day on a term time only basis. Further opportunities are available to work at our Sports Academies during the evening, as well as on our ‘Sports and Activities Holiday Camps’ dependent on experience and availability. 

Salary: Salary is based on contractual hours of delivery and varies between £10.50 - £13.00 per hour dependent on experience and programme being delivered on a self-employed basis. There is also opportunity to earn during the school holidays at our ‘Sports and Activities Holiday Camps’. Our organisation has on offer various rewards and incentives throughout the school year for all coaches who go above and beyond in their role. There are also regular opportunities to progress as a P.E specialist into further roles within our organisation through mentoring and training provided by Dream Big Sports.

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative and inspirational individual who can help create memorable moments for children to achieve their dreams through sport.

  • 2 x NGB Level 2 Coaching Qualification.

  • First Aid Qualification (within the last 2 years).

  • Safeguarding Certificate (within last 12 months).

  • Experience of delivering in a classroom environment.

  • Minimum of 12 months experience delivering curriculum-based physical education & school sport to children aged 4-16 years old.

Desirable Requirements:

  • A Gymnastics and/or Dance qualification.

  • Experience of using behaviour management strategies when delivering sports.

  • Achieved or working towards a Level 3 in Primary School PE/Sport.

  • Degree (or working towards) in Sports Coaching or any other sport related degree.
