Dream Big Sports offer unique and niche educational projects that both use a collaboration of sport and core curriculum subjects as a tool for engagement.
Our trained coaches deliver sessions that are engaging, fun and exciting while ensuring that each minute spent with each child within the learning environment is productive and each child is progressing and developing as an individual.
Take a look at how we boost attainment in cross curricular areas through our FunFives and Champion Club programmes.
The FunFives programme is aimed at Key Stage 2 students and combines physical activity with fun classroom workshops focusing on five different topics: healthy eating, healthy behaviours, cyber safety, road safety and respect. Children take part in a total of 10 hours provision timetabled to suit each schools needs. The practical activity includes a variety of different sports with an underlying theme.
Our Champion Club is a newly developed programme aimed at helping Upper Key Stage 2 students with their Numeracy and Literacy in preparation for their transition to high school. It uses uniquely designed work packs that utilise sport as an engagement tool to boost the fundamental skills required when starting high school. It works on the key areas of the national curriculum for numeracy and literacy and can be used as a booster session either after school time or during a period in the timetable. Coming soon in 2018...
