From an early age, it was very clear that Patrick wanted to have a career in sport. As a talented sportsman growing up Patrick played cricket at a County level and progressed through the age groups.
Patrick first became interested in coaching during his time at
college which evolved into a desire to take on a role full-time. After finishing university with a BA in Sport and Business Management, Patrick went on to play and coach grade cricket in Australia. Whilst he was there, he was lucky enough to play with and against elite athletes, some of which are currently playing for Australia today.
On returning to the UK, Patrick starting delivering and coaching sport in Primary Schools, as well as taking a lead role in coaching cricket in the community at Bowdon Cricket Club, where has worked under the guidance of elite coaches and mentors. Patrick has a strong desire to introduce, develop and mentor all sports to all abilities and ages of the children that he works with. He is confident in his ability to engage and excite children through sport to help present opportunities for brighter futures.
