The Reason Behind Mission: Dream BIG!

We are delighted to be able to share access to our Social Value Annual Report 2022-23!

Over the last 12 months, we have worked behind the scenes with a consultant to really grasp what Social Value means to Dream Big Sports, as well as develop a unique Social Value Framework that will allow us to confidently articulate where we have provided additional value and impact from our core services in sports coaching and education.

Our Annual Report summarises this information across all areas of our provision, in addition to our Workforce & Employment and a comparison to the 2021-22 academic year which we used as a baseline measurement for future reports. It is incredible to see the growth we have continued to achieve across nearly every area of business which allows us to provide more opportunities than ever before, whether that be for young people accessing sport & physical activity, individuals looking to gain work experience/employment opportunities or our own workforce wanting to develop their skill set for a successful career in the sector.

In the final section of the report, we have also included additional information about our Mission: Dream Big! initiative, the pledges we have made and the targets that we are currently working towards as a team. “This report is a key milestone in our business journey and is evidence of our commitment to our non-profit status. Over recent years, we have focused our efforts on identifying what social value means to our organisation, deciding on how we can re-invest sustainably to have a positive impact whilst also committing to social value pledges and key targets to achieve.

I do hope that this report provides reassurance that Dream Big Sports operates ethically and sustainably in a sector that shouldn’t be dictated by pounds and pence but more the wider impact sports coaching & education can have on the lives of young people and the local economy.”
